The IRCC has invited 4,750 Express Entry candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residency visa in a draw held on October 26, 2022.
With a cutoff score of 496 points, this draw has marked a significant fall in the minimum cutoff score. The draw witnessed a four-point decrease in comparison to the minimum cutoff score of 500 in the last draw, which was held on October 12, 2022.
In the latest draw, the IRCC has applied a tie break of May 09,2022 09:04:20 UTC. It clearly indicates that all those candidates who have scored 496 and above CRS points and have entered their EE profile in the pool before this time and date, will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

How Express Entry System works?
Candidates who wish to apply for Canadian permanent residency status are required to create an Express Entry profile and enters into the pool. Each profile is then ranked on the basis of key factors like candidate’s age, skilled work experience, education, proficiency in English or French, etc. Candidates with higher rank are issued an ITA to apply for a permanent residency visa.
