The IELTS has introduced the One Skill Retake program to help applicants who believe that they didn’t showcase complete capabilities in any of the four essential skills – Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking – during the primary test.

The IELTS One Skill Retake measure is designed to assist applicants in regaining their momentum. This option is available at the selected test centers that allow applicants to select what they want to re-evaluate and improve.

Here is the stepwise process to book the retake test:
- Original test day
- Receive results
- Book IELTS One Skill Retake
- Complete IELTS One Skill Retake within 60 days of your original test day
The One Skill Retake option is presently available in Australia, Cambodia, India, and the Philippines and will be progressively launched in other regions and nations around the world throughout 2023.

Understanding your Results
The IELTS will issue a fresh Test Report Form, comprising your revised IELTS One Skill Retake score in addition to the results for the remaining 3 skills from your previous examination. The decision of whether to use your original or the new Test Report Form is entirely up to you.
