Federal Express Entry System
Canada Express Entry is an immigration program used by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage and process applications for permanent residency from skilled workers who wish to move to Canada.
Launched in 2015 and is based on a points system that assesses applicants on numerous factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability.
To apply for Express Entry, candidates first need to register an online profile and give information about their qualifications and work experience. Once their profile is complete, IRCC will allocate a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on the key factors. Subsequently, the highest-scoring applicants get ITA (Invitation to Apply) for permanent residency through periodic draws held by the Canadian government.
