Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)
The CRS is a points-based system, which IRCC use to rank applicants in the Express Entry pool based on six selection factors, i.e. age, education, language proficiency, work experience, etc. Candidates with the top CRS points get Canada PR invitation through regular draws held by Canadian immigration department, i.e. IRCC.
The latest EE draw is part of IRCC’s continuing efforts to lure skilled and talented people to Canada in order to contribute to the economic growth and development of the maple leaf country.
To be eligible to apply for Canadian PR visa through EE system, candidates must first create an Express Entry profile and fulfil the minimum requirements for the category (i.e. FSW/CEC/FST) they wish to apply for. They also need to fulfil minimum CRS score requirement to be considered for an ITA for permanent residence.
If you are able to receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence through Express Entry, then you will have 60 days to submit a complete application, along with all supporting documents and fees. Once the application is accepted, candidates and their families can become permanent residents of Canada, and will get all rights and benefits that come with that status.
