2nd Express Entry draw of 2023 was held on 18 January 2023
- The IRCC conducted the second Express Entry draw of the year 2023 on January 18, 2023, i.e. just after one week after the previous draw held on 11th January.
- In the second draw as well, IRCC has issued 5,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa.
- In this draw, the IRCC has dropped the CRS score requirement significantly to 490 points from 507 points (in the previous draw).
Ontario PNP invites a total of 1,656 candidates under the skilled trades & Foreign Workers stream in the opening draws of January 2023
- Ontario has published the results for its opening draws held on 10 and 13 January 2023
- On 13 January, Ontario held the targeted draw for Express Entry- skilled trades stream to invite 1,252 candidates
- On 10 January, OINP conducted two separate targeted draws for Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream inviting a total of 404 candidates
Manitoba conducted the first MPNP draw of the year on 12 January- Invites 322 candidates
- Manitoba, Canada conducted the first draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) this year on January 12, 2023
- In this EOI-based draw, Manitoba has issued a total of 322 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination
- Skilled Workers Overseas stream of MPNP received 20 invitations this time around.
Saskatchewan PNP- Entrepreneur category draw on 5 January
- Saskatchewan, Canada conducted the EOI draw for the Entrepreneur category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) on January 5, 2023
- In this draw, SINP has issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to 50 suitable candidates interested in starting a Business in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.
- The EOI score range of the selected candidates was 80-130 points.
Latest Alberta PNP Draw – 8 December 2022
- Canadian province Alberta has released the details of the latest draw of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) conducted on December 8, 2022
- A total of 129 candidates received NOIs (Notifications of Interest) to apply for a provincial nomination in this draw.
- The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the invited candidates was 305 CRS points or above.
