On August 25, 2022, Saskatchewan has announced the details of its latest SINP draw, which targeted Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand candidates. To qualify for an invitation, candidates need to have a relevant work experience in any one of the following occupations:
- 2263 Inspectors in public and environmental health and occupational health and safety
- 3143 Occupational therapists
- 3211 Medical laboratory technologists
- 3212 Medical laboratory technicians and pathologists & assistants
- 3214 Respiratory therapists, clinical perfusionists and cardiopulmonary technologists
- 3215 Medical radiation technologists
- 3216 Medical sonographers
- 3219 Other medical technologists and technicians (except dental health)
- 3234 Paramedical occupations
- 4151 Psychologists
A total of 629 ITAs was issued to candidates who had Educational Credential Assessments and were registered with the SINP. Total 334 were issued to candidates under Occupation In-Demand sub-category and remaining 295 were issued under Express Entry sub-category.
The SINP uses five key factors for evaluating candidates profiles and award them with a score out of 100 using International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. These factors include:
Work experience
Language ability
Age
Educational qualification
Prior connection to the province
